Visual Rhetoric: Motion Studies
How is information communicated? An analysis of visual systems in The Atlantic. I studied the visual design of The Atlantic to understand how information is communicated through typography, illustration, and navigation. By categorizing these components, I was able to analyze their function and examine how they interact to guide and shape the reader’s experience. To extend this research, I translated my findings into motion studies using Adobe After Effects—reinterpreting the magazine’s visual rhetoric into dynamic, time-based compositions.
