The Type Journal: Publication

5.75” x 8.5” | 80lb matte cover | Two-Hole metal file binding | 65 pages | Laser on 70lb matte text stock The Type Journal is a typography dedicated collaborative publication made by myself and fellow students at OCAD University. Launched in Fall 2024, within its pages contains meaningful commentary on typography concepts, cross-linguistic historical examinations, and essays relating to the broad communication systems typography inhabits. Made in collaboration with 14 other design students, I wrote an essay examining the typographic designs of the letterforms of FE-schirft and designed the layouts of three essays, including specimen for two typefaces titled: Nabua and Redaction.
